Allison is a journalist who reports on housing, health, and human rights. After witnessing her neighbors’ resilience post-wildfires, she felt called to share stories that help rebuild.

Evelyn is a retired Los Angeles Superior Court Judicial Assistant. Now an independent author of African American women’s fiction and a survivor of the Eaton Fire herself, she writes to honor and amplify the voices of others who lived through it.
