KC is a Taiwanese American photojournalist based in Nairobi, covering environmental change, cultural continuity, foreign interventions, and outdoor adventure. She is a Stringer Awards finalist and received an AAJA Awards Honorable Mention.

Based in Chennai, India, Laasya manages The Xylom's roster of freelancers and coordinates collaborative cross-border investigations centered in South Asia. She was named a finalist in the 2026 Nonprofit News Awards.
