Jack is a Paul Foot Award nominated journalist, working for the Mill since 2022. He writes about the city’s people, from crane drivers and butchers to its leading planners and decision-makers.

Mollie is an investigative reporter whose work has appeared in Tribune Magazine and The Sunday Times. Her investigation into a spiking in the Northern Quarter was praised in parliament.

Ophira is a features writer, and has previously written for the Quietus, the Guardian, and the Fence. She is particularly interested in music and literature.

Jack is an editor and writer who has been covering Birmingham for the past year. He previously ran The Dispatch's sister title in Liverpool

Sophie has written cultural essays and features for the New York Times, the New York Times Magazine, Gawker, the Washington Post, the Guardian Long Read and Die Zeit, amongst others.
