Val is from Southern CA and found her love for journalism at community college. She worked in local news for 4 years before starting at RANGE in 2022 and is proud to call Spokane home. Passions include: empowering community, books and crafting.

Luke is the founder of RANGE Media and a bunch of other things. He's a lifelong Spokane guy, Gonzaga grad and started his journalism career at The Inlander. He’s passionate about telling great stories and building world-changing things.

Originally from central WA, Daisy has covered farmworkers and labor rights issues. Before joining RANGE, she lived in the US-Mexico border community of Nogales, AZ. In her spare time she enjoys reading, coffee and sudoku.
