Christopher Street

David Sessions is a writer and historian in Boston. His work has appeared in The New Republic, The Daily Beast, Newsweek, Slate, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and others. He received his PhD in intellectual history from Boston College.

Andrew Holleran is the author of several novels, including the celebrated ‘Dancer from the Dance’ (1979) and, most recently, ‘The Kingdom of Sand’ (2022). He was a regular contributor to Christopher Street.

George Stambolian (1938-1991) taught French at Wellesley College and was editor of the ‘Men on Men’ collection of gay fiction. His interviews with gay men frequently appeared in Christopher Street.

Michael Denneny (1943-2023) was a co-founder of Christopher Street and a pioneering gay publisher. ‘On Christopher Street,’ an anthology of his essays, was published in 2023.
